It was created to bring opportunity to Manitoba's Women of the Blues within a concert setting, highlighting the blues genre and the women that love it. There have been 3 concerts, and one CD release. The CD was recorded live at Winnipeg’s Home of the Blues, the Windsor Hotel on Oct. '08. The first WIB CD of it’s kind in Manitoba and maybe Canada was released Feb. '09. It has received national and international radio play including CBC; Holger Peterson's Saturday Night Blues. Our CD has reached the hands of Dan Akroyd! It is soon to be a permanent fixture in John Einerson's Manitoba Music Exhibit as the first CD of its kind!\n
