These three friends, Willie Fisher, Gary Gravatt and Scott Lollis, were later joined by Joe Ecker and Rob Sawyer and soon thereafter they started playing in local bars and pubs in the Poconos, PA. The band was playing primarily Grateful Dead music, and it wasn’t long before they gained a following and started a unique and vibrant community seen. Everyone was going to see Willie and the Poor Boys. It was a tight-knit family of friends. Now some 40 years later, this family is still together. Someone said, “How cool would it be if the Poor Boys had a reunion gig... That would be awesome!” Well, that time has come!
