Grammy® Award-winning saxophonist Branford Marsalis leads a stellar lineup of internationally renowned artists including Ms. Lisa Fischer & Grand Baton, David Sanchez, and Najee who will be headlining the festival. The opening kick-off event featuring the Valerie Tyson band, will still take place at the Pompano Beach Cultural Center.\n\nThere's something for everyone at the immersive “jazz takeover” of Pompano Beach in January. Chairs and blankets are welcome!\nArtist Line-up/Schedule\nThursday, January 18th 2024 | 7 - 9pm | Pompano Beach Cultural Center\n\n\nValerie Tyson\n\nWe’re kicking off Jazz Fest Pompano Beach 2024 with a fun-filled celebration featuring South Florida’s Queen of Soul, Valerie Tyson. With her enviable mastery of Top 40 hits, R&B classics, and smooth jazz, she will be setting the tempo for a weekend of memorable performances.\n\nThis performance is made possible with support from the Broward Cultural Division.\n\nYasmeen Marti and Randy Corinthian will be performing a preview during the reception.\n\n\nSaxophonist, producer, and educator Randy Corinthian has been an integral and innovative part of the Music Industry for over 2 decades. A native Floridian and CEO of RC Music Group, Randy holds degrees in music from Florida A&M University and Florida State University.\n\nAs a performer, Randy has shared the stage with many notables including, Rhonda Ross and Rodney Kendrick, Alicia Olatuja, Gerald Albright, Bobby Caldwell, Omar Sosa, Larry Coryell, John Abercrombie, Ellis Marsalis, Ron Isley, Smokie Norful, and Alex Bugnon. He performs a wide variety of musical styles including, straight-ahead jazz, gospel, popular music, and many original compositions.\n\n\n\n\n\nCome join us early on Friday and Saturday at 4 PM on the beach for our food court which will host and serve delicious bites and drinks from Baresco, Beach House, BurgerFi, How you Brewin, Cannoli Kitchen Pizza, Kilwins, Lucky Fish and Oceanic.
