Michael McDonald In 1998, Michael obtained a starring role on MAD TV, where he enjoyed an unprecedented ten-year run. During those ten years, McDonald created several popular characters, including, Stuart Larkin, Marvin Tikkvah, The Depressed Persian Tow Truck Man, Rusty Miller, Bible Dude, Sean Gidcomb, and Larry Felmore. Popular celebrity impressions include Dr. Phil, Simon Cowell, John Kerry, Maury Povich, Bill O’Reilly, and Tim Gunn. Recent acting credits include SCRUBS, DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES, PUSHING DAISIES, SEVENTH HEAVEN, REAPER, KATH & KIM, HANNAH MONTANA, and KATHY GRIFFIN: MY LIFE ON THE D-LIST. Recent directing credits include MAD TV, SCRUBS, SEVENTH HEAVEN, and COUGAR TOWN. McDonald is currently splitting his time as a producer/director on ABC’s COUGAR TOWN, and touring the country as a stand up comedian. His first stand up comedy special was recently filmed in Orange County, California for Comedy Central.
