Back in May 2017, we (I play bass with the group) posted a little video from our appearance there and, in only 3 weeks, it garnered over 8,100 views on YouTube. Your support for the band, which features Eddie Paul, Christopher Floyd (aka "Freight Train") and Ben Williams, is the fuel to pump up their soul-Americana originals. In the back field, it's Robin Ruddy on dobro/vocals, Tom Larson on percussion and yours truly, Sam Cooper, on bass guitar, guitar/vocals. You can hear touches of their influences from The Band, The Eagles, Little Feat, The Grateful Dead, Merle Haggard, Keith Whitley, etc... This band has been smoldering what may become a musical bonfire on Music Row for the last few years, paying dues and working it out weekly. Of course, the venue, Douglas Corner, has great sound and lights! Ample free parking all around, a full bar and only a modest cover charge of $7/person!
