With a new album recorded and produced in both Melbourne and the USA with some of New Orleans’s greatest mainstays such as Mike Bass (Trombone Shorty), Zoe K’s new offering is sure to be a welcome dose of old school substance and style in Australia's already rich, though often manufactured, musical landscape. In between her time in New Orleans, Zoe has also performed shows at the Howlin Wolf New Orleans and also was recently invited back to perform at the Rockwood Music Hall, New York and alongside Treme, HBO star Kermit Ruffins while recruiting fans from across the globe on the way. Her latest single 'Put It Down' also features Mister Goldfinger (Ray Angry) who also plays alongside The Roots and Lauryn Hill. It is for these reasons that this independent self managed, stiletto wearing front woman shows no signs of slowing down. Catch her before she heads back to New Orleans to complete her summer residency at The Hi Ho Lounge, New Orleans.
