A night of troupodour style music with John Paul Raliff and coffee. Come enjoy some words poetic and odd yet thought provoking. One might liken it unto a man getting lost in a mirror and seeing himself as the savage beast standing between insanity and escape sings to himself to soothe and kill that creature to sleep that he may tiptoe past the snoring snoot of his inner demon, carefully over the splayed paws, then through the mirror frame by frame returning to his familiar plane of existence with the knowledge that the beast is within. So he still sings to himself to keep the beast at bay. And that's what it might be like if you come see John Paul Ratliff at Gypsy this Friday.
