What is it all about??
Years ago Shaela Noella called together powerful women musician friends to share their songs in the gentle winds of an outdoor day festival, for the community. Originally it was inspired to build sisterhood between artist musicians and c reate a place to spotlight lady performers, while always welcoming all genders. It still carries that intention but now 5 years later it has evolved with new intentions and grew into a 2 day and one night festival with childrens camp, and workshops. Honorably the meaning of “winds” takes on a greater significance; as sisters and brothers we are coming together to sing and celebrate life with our local community, our songs, prayers, and blessings will be carried by the Winds.....across the globe to uplift lives in a positive way (profits are donated to a global cause).
YES! Our motto this year is “CELEBRATE LIFE LOCALLY ACT GLOBALLY!”
We intend the blessings of our celebration will reach many! This Community Festival is a Service Project therefore ALL profits made will be donated to meet the basic needs of others (for the thirsty and hungry). For example: helping Women build Community Gardens in Niger to work towards solving hunger in their community, or providing Water Filters for 20 daycares in Bolivia, or digging Water Wells for Families in Honduras, or planting food organically and sustainably in India.
At the Festival Gates there will be the finalized voting options listed which will all be striving to meet basic needs in the most sustainable way. There you can place your vote on which global cause we will donate to. If you have a suggestion on a non-profit message Shaela Noella ((email@example.com))
DEEPEST GRATITUDE TO ALL THE MUSICIANS, ARTISTS, PERFORMERS AND WORKSHOP LEADERS For GIFTING THEIR TALENTS TO OUR LOCAL COMMUNITY FESTIVAL, BECAUSE OF YOUR OFFERINGS (Free of charge) YOU ARE making this possible!! This is True abundance: where your Gifts are BLESSING us locally and are OVERFLOWING blessings INTO THE WORLD-GLOBALLY.
