Billed as "Old Fashioned Family Fun" and known as THE place to meet old friends and to make new ones, the Lincoln County Fair has been a long standing tradition since 1909. The Fair hosts hundreds of exhibitors who compete in various 4-H and open class agricultural and domestic divisions, showcasing Lincoln County's best craftsmanship, animals, vegetables, plants and flowers. Residents, young and old, bring their best in an effort to win that blue ribbon. Highlights include local and award winning talent presented daily on stage, a wide variety of delicious "fair food", kids carnival with extreme thrill rides, midway style games, clowns, face painters and train rides, old fashioned family games on Friday night, bull riders from all over the country competing in the "Bull Thing" held Saturday night, livestock shows and sale, and commercial vendors and exhibits. Located nearby is a fishpond (with fish!) and picnic pavilion - the perfect place to host your summer get together or take a quite break during the busy fair. In between fair time, organizations and individuals utilize the fairgrounds to hold their events such as Flea Market and Quilt Show, Banquets, Car Shows, the Tobacco Valley Rodeo, Fundraisers, Holiday and Craft Bazaars, and Annual Festivals.
Whatever you desire, you can find it at the Lincoln County Fair and Fairgrounds!
