SCOTT MATTHEWS - UK TOUR 2014 - GLEE CLUB CARDIFF

Ivor Novello award-winning singer-songwriter and mesmeric live performer Scott Matthews returns to Glee Club Cardiff on Sunday 25th May 2014. Scott Matthews starts 2014 with a brand new self-produced album entitled Home Part 1, which was released in March. It is his fourth studio album.

Scott’s debut album, Passing Stranger, contained an eclectic mix of styles and featured the world renowned tabla player, Sukvinder Singh Namdari, who had played alongside such artists as Ry Cooder and Ravi Shankar. And it wasn't long before Scott was getting national airplay from the likes of Janice Long, Mark Radcliffe and Bob Harris on BBC Radio 2.

Scott's first single Elusive was released in September 2006. The single received much airplay from BBC Radio DJs Jo Whiley, Dermot O'Leary, and Zane Lowe. Lowe played Elusive once each night as his chosen 'Single of the Week'. Matthews also visited the station to perform Elusive and other songs from the album.

Scott has not only embarked on a number of sell-out headline tours, but has also been fortunate enough to tour with some of the world’s most respected artists, including, Foo Fighters, Snow Patrol, Rufus Wainwright, Tori Amos and Robert Plant.
