Date and Time
Saturday, April 26th, 2014 at 11:00am
Please join us for a family day used to inform, educate, and inspire our community to get involved and demand meaningful change in our court system.
In light of published reports in local newspapers, national rulings taking place in family courts throughout the country, the release of the Kids for Cash film and upcoming sentencing of the former Lackawanna County sole Guardian Ad Litem and admitted felon, Danielle Ross NOW is the time to raise awareness of the need for Judicial Reform.
On April 26 beginning at noon there will be speakers such as Civil Rights Hall of Fame inductee Jesse Epps http://www.mccc.edu/~humphrew/whatsnew/jesseepps.htm
and Civil Rights advocate and 2014 Democratic candidate for PA’s 11th Congressional District seat Andy Ostrowski http://www.andyostrowski.com/
as well as local speakers who have experienced court abuse personally.
We will enjoy family activities such as Face Painting by Nicole Lloyd and live music by OG LAW/ God’s Love at Work from Philadelphia https://www.facebook.com/og.law.9?fref=ts
and Berks County PA Christian Rock band Vitruvia! https://www.facebook.com/vitruviamusic
Local food trucks will also be available.
We will recognize the efforts of murdered Georgia State Senator Nancy Schaefer who fought to protect families. A video about Schaefer can be found at www.youtube.com/watch?v=6oU6AtuVy3E.
Help us to make changes for the better and support those in your own community who have experienced judicial injustice and court abuse and help make the statement that Child Custody is not a for cash business! Please remember that April is National Child Abuse Prevention month! Come out, enjoy the day and help to protect children and families nationwide
