How often do people get to know the face behind the composition? We are so proud to announce the inaugural performance of ORTUS The Khorikos International New Music Competition! Ten exceptional new works have been selected from a pool of over 600 score submissions from around the globe! ORTUS will feature works by a diverse roster of talented composers, which we will introduce to you through a series of video montages posted online over the coming weeks at www.khorikos.com. Stay tuned to meet the artists in their behind the scenes interviews! We want our audience to feel like they know the composers a little when they walk in the door and hope that you will join us! The first place winner, chosen by popular demand, will be announced at the concert and presented with a special prize. Audience members will have an opportunity to vote for their favorite composition.
