Far Off Coast:
New Denver based musical experiment from Jodi Jones and Landon L Gow -- Both indie veterans having separately contributed to numerous projects. Jodi hails from West Virginia where she performed under her name and with various musicians. Landon's most recent project was Mount Forgotten out of Seattle. Adding immeasurably in texture, color, and overall direction are George Hirtle on bass, Kyle Misencik on drums, and Lucy Lyons on cello/viola/keyboards. FAR OFF COAST has a particular brand of stylistic indie-folk, melodically driven with emotional complex lyricism and because of this they have drawn early comparisons to the Head and the Heart, and Neko Case, but with Jodi's unique vocal phrasing and Landon's guitar playing their sound is something all their own.
