From the very beginning The Black Rose Phantom’s own take on music was one that was never heard before. Taking a mixture of traditional Psychobilly music (made popular in Europe during the 1980’s), along with various influences from Metal, Punk and Country/Rockabilly Genres.
Based out of Long Beach, CA The Black Rose Phantoms formed in late 2002. With only a short 8 months the band was asked to join Hell Cat Records very own Nekromantix as they ventured on a West Coast Tour. Within the months that followed, the band found themselves in the studio recording their Far From Heaven demo. Once pressed and ready for promotion the band caught yet another opportunity as they went on the there second major tour . This time in support of psychobilly legends Tiger Army. The tour helped the band branch out to new regions such as the South and Mid-West of the United States.
With the coming of 2007, The Black Rose Phantoms released their much anticipated full length album Beyond the Wall of Sleep on independent record label Smelvis Records. In support of the album the band set off on there 3rd major tour playing in such legendary venues as The House of Blues (Anaheim, Hollywood), El Corazon (Seattle), The Venue (Salt Lake City), and The Catalyst (Santa Cruz).
In recent success The Black Rose Phantoms were asked by energy drink sponsorship Roaring Lion to submit an all new track for there compilation Cd that will be distributed well through out the United States. Jumping at the chance the phantoms hit the studio with all new composed material that will be on there second full length release set for 2011. In other successes the hit song "Love You More Dead" from there 2008 EP was featured in the short film Cannibal Flesh Riot. Along with other accomplishments the band has been featured in magazines such as Skratch, Deadbeat and have also had the pleasure of doing vocals on Tiger Armys Ghost tigers rise release.
In anticipation for 2011 the band finds themselves finalizing the pre-production of their 2nd full length album. The band plans to shock their much respected audience once again with their re-invented unique sound.
Straight Shooter~~ https://www.facebook.com/xstraightshooterx
Straight Shooter is a 4pc band from Los Angeles, CA whose work recalls the nostalgic American sound of Rockabilly, Honky Tonk, and Traditional Country -- but while these influences resonate deep within their music, these boys put a modern spin on it all, combining the raw energy and sound of Rock 'n Roll.
Jipsea Party~~ https://www.facebook.com/JipSeaParty?fref=ts
Formed in December 2011, in the garage studio of Snatchee Records Jipsea Party is one of the most distinct and eccentric bands born out of the Wenatchee Valley. The members bring together a slew of musical backgrounds and former experiences in punk rock, delta blues, reggae, metal, blue-grass,and the London Youth Symphony to create a sound that’s a cocktail of one part stomp, one part cabaret, another rock, polka, some sea swayin’ shanty and a whole lot of gypsy.
After Jipsea Party played their first show opening for Larry And His Flask in January 2012, they’ve trampled all over Washington State taking the party from places such as Wally's house of Booze in Wenatchee, the Morgue in Georgetown (RIP), El Corazon in Seattle, O'Malleys in Tacoma,The Wild Buffalo in Bellingham, to Jones Radiator in Spokane, they’ve seduced show goers all over the state at places like Conscious Culture Festival, the Desert Sage Festival, at the Town Toyota Center for the Derby Girls, The Pastime in Roslyn, and many other locations all screaming for more!
They arrive, unknown, a caravan of seemingly undesirable immigrants, setting up camp and parading the streets in a flurry of scarves, glitter and random percussion. Once the troop takes the stage, bemused watchers start grooving and clapping without knowing what they’re doing - they’ll have your children and your grandparents dancing- along with everyone else in attendance.
Party! Party! Party!
