Atlanta Georgia is known for its traffic jams, busy airport, lackluster Olympic games, and its overreaction to winter weather. It is also home to an extremely creative, diverse and talented rock band known as Suburban Camouflage. Composed of four friends who grew up together in Snellville Georgia, Suburban Camouflage began as a group of angst ridden high school kids who played loud music together in a basement studio. They all grew up listening to the great classic rock artists that were popular in the 60s and early 70s. The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, and The Doors were among the myriad of bands that were early influences. Suburban Camouflage also came from the Grunge School. Nine Inch Nails, Alice In Chains, Nirvana and all of the other legendary bands from those years were huge influences when the band began writing music together out of high school. More recent artists like Queens of the Stone Age, Kings of Leon, Foo Fighters, and Radiohead have also provided creative inspiration that has diversified the bands unique sound. Suburban Camouflage is nothing but rare talent and raw energy. They are the masters of taking unexpected turns, sudden pauses, and delivering the final hook. The band is characterized by lyrical genius, ripping guitar leads, and a wide variety of rhythmic textures, contributing to their unique sound. Suburban Camouflage creates a unique form of music that no other four individuals could ever replicate. It is the product of each member’s extreme talent, over a decade of friendship, and the influences of the rock bands that came before them. The band consists of lead singer and guitar player Jacob Lehman, lead guitars and vocalist Eric Fletcher, bass guitar Mike Ely, and vocalist and drummer Brad Berry.
