Moya Brennan, the voice of Clannad and First Lady of Celtic music, brings the unique atmosphere of her music with a specially produced seasonal show of celebration and reflection.
Moya draws not only on rich selections of traditional Irish and European Christmas songs and carols but also her enticing repertoire of well know solo and Clannad songs. She will be joined by Cormac De Barra and members of her talented band in a show that will warm the hearts and carry the spirit and message of the season to her audience.
Grammy Award winner Moya, is the eldest of a prodigious musical family from Donegal, Ireland, which spawned Celtic music pioneers, Clannad, and the global success of her sister, Enya. As lead singer with Clannad and as solo artist she has performed on many of the world’s great stages, played to Presidents and championed Irish culture, language and music wherever she goes.
She has sung and duetted with a host of luminaries which include Bono, Robert Plant, Michael McDonald, Bruce Hornsby, Michael Crawford, and Joe Jackson. She has toured her Christmas show in Europe in recent years but will be bringing this seasonal treat to America for the first time after Thanksgiving 2013.
