We are very excited for this year. With so many new ideas, all of the new people helping and so much time to organize, this years chapter will be our finest work yet.
We are bringing you over 100 performers between the two stages. Our line-up is much more diverse and features many very respected entertainers. Nearly all genres of electronic music will be represented along with some hip-hop, beat boxers, professional dance troupes, and a few more surprises to be released along the way.
The main stage will again be a giant but greatly improved mushroom and for sound we are bumping it up to an incredible 72,000 watts rms in just subs,(not a typo bring ear plugs. Just under 110,000 watts in front of the stage!!!) The stage effects have been brought to a new level as well. The mushroom will be video mapped, projector with live feed from the dj booth, crazy rgb lasers, LED video wall, and a few more surprises in addition to last years epic light show.
We have teamed up with our friends from Bassik Entertainment from Kelowna and The Party Cat Project from Mabel Lake to bring you a second daytime stage featuring 16,000 watts from the Party Cat Project’s PK system.
Other festival amenities include a massive chill tent by each stage to protect from sun or rain, atm, vendor village and artist merch booths, VIP areas, face and body painting, children's workshops, massage and reflexology booths, yoga workshop, sanctuary and first aid tent, playgrounds, live graffiti tent, bonfires (pending fire ban) and more.
This is an all age event. Everyone is welcome however minors must be accompanied by an adult. Unaccompanied minors detained by security at the first aid tent until claimed.
Liquor is permitted freely in your campsite however it is not permitted in the general area or at the stages. This is a public place, you must treat it as one. Security will be enforcing this. Any excessive intoxication or violence will result in your removal from the festival with no refund of any kind. Police will be contacted if necessary.
The gate will be open 24 hrs/day from start to finish. Persons and vehicles may be searched by security prior to allowing entrance to the grounds. There may be a police checkstop for people leaving. Please don’t drink and drive.
Once again U4eeyah Music Festival will be held at The Cedars Campground in Malakwa BC. Sept. 6 at 12pm – Sept. 9 at 12pm. This is by far finest Shuswap venue ever to host an electronic music festival.
The campground is right off of Trans-Canada Hwy 1 about 35 min west of Revelstoke or about 10 min east of Sicamous. We will have big signs on the side of the highway and you will see the balloons and lights at the gate.
The Cedars Campground has over 120 large camping sites to choose from. About half have rv hookups.** Regular admission camp sites are on a first come first serve basis.**
Excellent tasting well water is available at many locations all around the campground.
The campground is surrounded by 199 acres of beautiful nature park featuring several km of wilderness trails and about 1 km of the Eagle River and its many white sandy beaches.
It is everyone’s responsibility to see to it that the grounds are left in the same condition that they were prior. Please do not litter, there will be ample garbage cans and recycling bins provided. Please do not throw your cigarette butts on the ground. Vandalism will not be tolerated.
Getting our volunteer situation figured out and we have a lot of positions to fill. We need people to help setup, check passes and supervise the pool/sauna/hot tub area, check bathroom/shower passes, cleanup, Parking, kitchen staff, stage keepers/stage cleanup, sanctuary, VIP camping and backstage area(check passes) cleanup, teardown. Email Chelsea@prolifiksound.ca with your info, when you are available, and what you want to do. We are charging volunteers entry price unless they work their shift before the festival start date and reimbursing them after their shift. We are asking that volleys work a minimum of one 12 hr shift.
No dogs, weapons, illegal substances, glass, fireworks, negativity or bad vibes. Leave it behind please.
Camping is included in the price of the festival however we will be charging an additional $25 per rv and $5 per vehicle to encourage carpools and tents. There will be a $5/vehicle re-entry fee as well. **Regular admission camping is on a first come first serve basis**
Everyone will have access to the laundromat and porta-potties.
