Alliance Française d’Austin hosts Bastille day Festival at the French Legation Museum!

The Alliance Française d’Austin is hosting its 18th Annual Annual Bastille Day Festival on Saturday, July 13 2013, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. , on the grounds of the Historic French Legation Museum at 802 San Marcos Street, just east of downtown Austin and I-35. General admission is $10, and children 12 and under are FREE.
Local artists Rumbullion and Danielle Reich Quartet will be performing at the event. Their music will enchant guests of all ages. Fine food of French and Mediterranean style will be offered, along with French wine and locally brewed beer.
Proceeds from this fundraiser allow the Alliance Française d’Austin to issue annual scholarships to Austin area students under its Frédérique Moinard Scholarship program and to offer other cultural events.

The Alliance Française d’Austin is a non-profit organization whose mission is to encourage and develop knowledge of the French Language and French and Francophone cultures and to foster intellectual and artistic exchanges between the USA and France and French-speaking countries.
