Artistry of the Guitar concerts are much more interactive than a typical concert as artists field questions about their instruments, compositions, and unique approach to playing the guitar. It's not unusual for a 'Master Class' to erupt in the middle of a concert. The players also spend considerable time discussing their array of custom guitars, from Bonfield's ultra-rare, one-of-a-kind Carruth harp guitar built in 2010 to Steve Davison's 'green' 12-string guitar that uses only sustainable domestic woods, yet sounds every bit as good, or even better, than a guitar built with traditional tropical woods. The audience is encouraged to ask questions-the artists revel in it, and concert-goeers will gain a much deeper appreciation of the depth and breadth of the guitar's true possibilities.
