Billy Lord, in the midst of a breakthrough year on the American rock music scene, will be kicking off Bristol, Rhode Island's Annual 4th of July Concert Series at Independence Park with a historic homecoming concert featuring songs from his debut album, American Music, and some new songs from BIlly's upcoming special project and album, National Anthem.
Billy's debut album has been called "A perfect 10... One of the best releases of 2012" and his single Fighting Back was voted Best Rock Song of 2012 on Twitter. Billy was a featured artist on New York rock station Z100 and opened for platinum selling artist, Uncle Kracker, on the west coast with fellow Bristolian Colin Boughton on drums.
Billy is privileged to be playing with Band of Brothers (with Boughton on drums) who will be performing a full set of their own after he kicks off the series.
More exciting details coming with a national press release that will hit media outlets in the next few weeks.
