ATLANTA - On Saturday, July 14 2012, the Alumni Entrepreneurs Network (AEN) of Georgia State University, its subgroup, Digital Entertainment Entrepreneurship - Network Atlanta; and the H.J. Russell International Center for Entrepreneurship at Georgia State University's J. Mack Robinson College of Business, will host the second annual Atlanta Creative Arts Symposium (Music/Film/Digital Arts) "How Do I Make Money With What I Created?" his interactive symposium brings greater understanding and awareness to aspiring and current music, film, and digital artists and the business professionals who represent them. We will have workshops to help participants understand their intellectual property and how to leverage and protect it; and how to enhance quality by using Digi Design Pro-Tools, Apple's Logic Pro and Final Cut Pro for our music and film/video professionals. For the business professionals and artists who seek to market their project and/or brand, we have a special marketing plan development workshop. We will have a key note speaker, panel discussions, and a network industry mixer to round out the day. Our keynote speaker is Mr. Aaron Arnold, CEO of MusicIsMyBusiness.com, who has been featured on Vh1, CNN's "Young People Who Rock" and in Inc. Magazine as "America's Smartest New Companies led by people under 30." Georgia State University has state of the art facilities and resources such as the Digital Aquarium and the Digital Arts & Entertainment Lab (D.A.E.L.). We currently produce and host a national Corporate Intellectual Property (IP) Roundtable also known as The Corporate IP Institute. In 2010, three Georgia State student musicians earned Grammy awards. We are also the home site for the Atlanta Film Festival held annually. Ultimately, we want to develop long term relationships with our partners in developing/providing opportunities and quality programming. If you know of anyone who would be a good speaker/panelist for any event contact Dorie Jackson immediately via email email@example.com or 404-668-7612.
