Radiohead, Massive Attack
“..."mood rock whose spaciousness, avant-jazzy and electronic touches, and general melancholy owe a great deal to Radiohead." EG”
"SAYS rocks a little harder..." [with] "Muse-style electronic grandeur"
“Although their first EP is just making its way into the world, they’ve already shared a bill with keyboardist Ikey Owens of the Mars Volta – it should be no surprise that SAYS is a bit dark. There’s a sinister quality to Disbelieving that treads heavily through shoegaze woods or maybe The City of Lost Children.
“Disbelieving (2010) definitely doesn't lack direction. The production on this EP is very well balanced, which is difficult when so many audio effects are in play. With guitar and vocal reverbs, delays, distortions, and various ambient, harmonic, and melodic synthesizer parts, it is challenging to achieve the "right" mix.”
