Savannah Alday / Press

“Still A Great Music City! Next up is a young lady I have had the privilege of witnessing grow into a mature artist that has found her voice: Savannah Alday and her song “Don’t Know Why.” This song is as sultry as a hot Georgia night and a real rocker! If you think you know Savannah’s music, this is a little something new that you will love!”

“After 26 artists submitted their work as part of a contest this year, Rogers and Stuckey announced Monday the first 10 music acts who will be featured on the “Macon Music” Volume 1 CD due to be released in September at a free release party. • Floco Torres (hip-hop alternative); • Kim Meeks (R&B, jazz); • Matt Rogers (country); • Ray, who was formerly known as Young R (R&B, hip hop); • Tash & The Boys (Southern rock, surf rock); • Stokes & The Guilty Bystanders (alternative, neo soul) • Station 13 (rock, grunge); • Savannah Alday (country, blues, Southern rock); • Joshua Neal (pop, rock); • Lisa Danielle (indie).”

“I met Savannah about a year and a half ago and she has grown remarkably as an artist since then. Her first single ‘Drop It Into Low,’ reminds me of the two country hits: ‘Bottoms Up’ and ‘Hey Bartender.’ You can check it out at: https://itun.es/us/8kXaS Savannah has a new EP coming out this summer, but you can hear her new single ‘Hard Edge Woman’ right now. This recording shows Savannah’s vocals as a more mature sounding artist that has truly come in to her own. I highly recommend that you visit her website www.savannahalday.com to you can keep track of this young lady. Her new single is also available at: https://itun.es/us/I_E12”

“The band was actually good, too, which … I’ll admit… was a little surprising. I’m not sure what I expected from the Savannah Alday Band, but it wasn’t what I got. What I got was a couple of hours of country rock with a bit of unexpected swagger from the sixteen year old singer and her band. They covered a ton of songs my table knew and even a few that I knew, too, including Hotel California and Sweet Child of Mine. It may be WELL before her time, but this chick could rock out to Guns and Roses”

“Bragg Jam, one of Macon’s most anticipated events, is TOMORROW! If you’re anything like me, you are already mapping out your schedule for which bands to check out. One of the newest acts this year is The Savannah Alday Band. A local group that has taken off in the past year, they are self described “Rock ~N~ Country Music!” I had the chance to speak with rhythm guitarist, Lee Gillis and get the scoop on what the band is all about. Follow the link for the rest of the story!”

“It's was another great night of bands and music last night at the semi-finals of the 2014 Battle of the Bands at The Crazy Bull. Thanks for a great job of all the six bands that competed! Two bands were chosen to move on to the finals next week, they are Tim Cadiere and Washboard Road from Eatonton, GA and Savannah Alday Band from Macon, GA. Talk about tough competition, three of the bands were separated by a tenth of a point. Congratulations on making the finals!”

“Concert to benefit Middle Georgia Community Food Bank - Four bands will be a part of a Friday concert to benefit the Middle Georgia Community Food Bank. The show will start at 9 p.m. at Big Daddy’s House of Pool. Admission is $10 plus two non-perishable food items, which will be donated to the food bank. “It’s to help starving families in Middle Georgia through the Middle Georgia Community Food Bank,” said Keith Owen, who is organizing the benefit concert. The musicians are all from different areas of Georgia: the Savannah Alday Band hails from [Macon], the Trey Teem Band is from Forsyth, Kelly Ballard is from Lawrenceville and Ronnie Pittman is from Eatonton. Jennifer Rutherford will be introducing the bands and welcoming people who attend the concert. All of the bands play mainly country and Southern rock, Owen said. “Just come on out, it’s for a great cause to help families in 24 different counties,” he said. Read more here: http”

“Country singer Savannah Alday is quickly becoming a point of conversation in Macon, GA. Her voice has a powerful southern rock quality that clearly indicates her southern roots. Listen to her talk about her recent album and give a stellar performance of her hit "All Day Everyday".”
