"SARAH CHESLER is an aesthetic music experience. Her music speaks to your mind and emotions. She is ethereal in presence. The dulcet tones of her singing voice soothe the soul; her voice is almost angelic with softly sung rhythms. She possesses a gentle, feminine aura that truly adds to the pleasing sensations of your ears, your eyes and heart. The words she sings are heartfelt and capture her spirit. Sarah is a singer/songwriter, pianist, guitarist/bassist whose genre is pop and jazz..." ...One characteristic of her jazz style is what I would call a type of scatting with almost nonsensical words or phrases that punctuate her music. On Monday, Nov. 9th, Sarah charmed the audience with original songs from her CD called "Monday Night Smoker" songs like: "Most Definitely," "Going Home, " "Do You?"… and, she put a unique spin on a longstanding rock song "House of the Rising Sun" which was phenomenal. Her second CD is a collaboration with guitarist TONY BOCCHETTA called "Earth and Moon"
