Sarah Beth / Bio

Sarah Beth Meadows was born in Southern Appalachia in to a long line of coal miners, farmers, rail road men, and lumberjacks, so naturally Bluegrass music runs deep in her blood. At a young age her family picked up and moved to the Eastern Shore of Maryland where she was discovered by a fellow West Virginia native Frank Nanna of Star Mountain Entertainment who helped her launch her career. At age 13 she was in her own band Sarah Beth & Co. and traveled all over the South East singing and writing the bluegrass she loves. In her teens she played at many places including "The Capitol Music Hall" in Wheeling West Virginia, "The Charleston Theatre" in Charleston, WV, and opened for the famed Ronnie Reno at the Berlin Fiddlers Convention in Berlin, MD.
Then at age twenty Sarah Beth moved to Nashville Tennessee where she is currently leaving her mark in the Bluegrass & Americana community. Her dream is to help end poverty and drug addiction in Southern Appalachia threw her music and education of the public. "The Mountains are my home," says Sarah Beth, "But it's not just my home, it's the home of bluegrass music and it needs to be saved."
Sarah Beth hopes you enjoy her music and hopes you help protect the people and culture of the Southern Appalachians.
