Bio: Hi, Ryan here. I'm not going to write this bio as if it is being written by some chronicler of my glorious deeds. It’s just a friendly chat between you and I. Cool? Good. "versatile musical ability and broad range of styles... catchy and well-orchestrated ... you sense that The Beatles lie deep in Sutter’s roots ... beautiful, jazzy weirdness"

Q: Ryan, hi, Aunt Mary Jo here... do you hate July because of what happened to our precious Rhett? Is your Uncle Ghost Jerry and Jack and your dad's brother who also died? PS: I miss them all! LOVE YOU!

A: Hi Mary Jo! You found me! :) As to your questions, you're close. July is hard for me because it is a mixture of nostalgia and memories of good times but also the anniversary of losing Rhett. Growing up it was always my favorite time of year but now it's got a painful component. Uncle Ghost, however, is about none of the above. It was actually inspired by a conversation I had with Rick about mistakes and drama from his life. The ghost part is more metaphorical because he was always kinda haunting the background of our lives. Good to hear from you! Love you!
