Donna Burke Ganime Jazz

Australian singer Donna Burke has millions of fans worldwide for her 2015 hits “Glassy Sky” and “Sins of the Father” as well as her 2010 hit “When Heaven’s Divide".

In 2015 in order to mark the MGS franchise’s 30 year anniversary, Donna was asked by famous video game creator Hideo Kojima from Kojima Productions/Konami to record covers for a Metal Gear Solid Vocal Album, including the acid jazz inspired Snake Eater and Can’t say Goodbye to Yesterday.

Now, with the Tokyo based, Japanese Ganime Jazz musicians, all of her classic game and anime theme songs receive fresh new arrangements.

The Ganime Jazz Quintet regularly performs in Tokyo attracting young anime/gamers from around the world as well as jazz fans and fans of Donna’s voice acting for anime and the Shinkanesen bullet train.

This unique pairing of Australian and Japanese musicians results in a powerful show with comic relief provided by Donna between each song enjoyed by a diverse audience.

Discover a whole genre of compelling contemporary music through this unique Jazz quartet.
