KATALINA KICKS Hard hitting West London alt rock band mixing the Clash and the Kinks with The Hives, Smashing Pumpkins, QOTSA and Nirvana. ‘Track of the Day’ – Clash 'Tipping their hats to the likes of Smashing Pumpkins, Bush and Placebo they stand out on today's scene of predominantly indie-centric live scene. Catch them before they are no longer whispers on the live circuit' - Subba Cultcha 'Fantastic Band!' - London ON Fm ‘It’s the kind of thing to play full volume at the end of a tedious day’ - Financial Times ‘How to Spend It’ 'With real stage presence, the ability to put on a great live show and a front man who has something to say, this up and coming band is definitely one to watch out for' - International Life Magazine www.katalinakicks.com KOLO Kolo are three chaps called Jon, Steve and Dani. Originally born as a three piece in Exeter in 2006 when Jon Burnellwrote a bunch of songs about 'all the tramps and slightly weird people who come into the record shop', the band played some 200 gigs before being offered a support slot with American band 3 Doors Down after a phone call while Jon was quite literally cleaning toilets. They went on to perform at the O2 academies throughout the UK including the O2 in London. "Fresh, upbeat, and poetic, with vocals to inspire a sing along. Kolo deliver in a way that both makes you smile, and emotionally relate." - Chemical Magazine "Kolo are one of the most exciting bands to have come out of the South West in a long time. Having seen them live in the UK and the States, I can tell you its a wholehearted excellent show full of great music. They really deserve success." - Vic Morgan, BBC www.kolo-band.com Plus more new artists making their debut CAMERON DOUGLAS Found Cameron desperately searching for a guitar amp to perform at 93 Feet East last month, so very glad he stepped onto my stage!!
