If you were lucky enough to get caught in the blazing trail that was ZICO CHAIN over the last 12 months, then you will already know what all the fuss is about. The band returned with a bang last year after almost 3 years in hibernation, and released their self-‐produced and critically acclaimed new album THE DEVIL IN YOUR HEART to an overwhelming response. Armed with their new album, ZICO CHAIN set off to rebuild a fallen empire, and it wasn’t long before they were again sharing the stage with the rock and metal elite. Grammy winners Halestorm were first to pick ZICO CHAIN out for an opening slot on their sold out European tour. Skindred soon followed suit with a run of UK dates. ZICO CHAIN are no strangers to having the support of rock royalty after Slash and Duff touted them as Britains best new band back in 2008. This year things started to get really interesting when Iron Maiden main man Steve Harris personally contacted Chris Glithero to invite Zico on tour. Riding this impressive wave of well-‐deserved and hard earned good fortune, ZICO CHAIN went on to shift literally thousands of copies of THE DEVIL IN YOUR HEART from their own merch stands. As the underground buzz developed, the band secured radio plays on XFM, Kerrang Radio, and Radio 1, before doing a live session with Ian Camfield for the XFM Rock Show. In December, NEW ROMANTIC, the first and only single released off THE DEVIL IN YOUR HEART, made its way into the Kerrang! Top Songs of 2012 Poll. THE DEVIL IN YOUR HEART is still gathering speed, and finally ZICO CHAIN is finding itself back on the big stage where it belongs. With an upcoming slot at this years Download Festival, a main stage appearance at Sonisphere in Italy, and an opening slot for Iron Maiden in Slovakia, it seems hard to imagine that the boys won’t reach the highest heights and beyond in 2013. ZICO CHAIN play The Louisiana, Bristol on September 25th with support from new Hassle Records signing LONELY THE BRAVE, who are gathering some serious heat themselves. ZICO CHAIN will also release new single ‘Mercury Gift’ through Suburban Records on 29th July 2013. Genre: Rock/Metal.

"Dirty guitars, sleazy almost sneered vocals... It may not be new or original, but it is certainly no poor imitation. It is most definitely worth a listen"
