“Rick and Jilda Watson are a folk duo from the Alabama countryside. Their inspiring yet poignant blend of music has a quality about it that just makes you smile. Songs from their new cd, "Do What You Love," take you back the days where folks went straight from the dinner table to the front porch for a pickin' session. "Sad Cafe" and "World Keep Spinning" are heart-rendering selections that showcase Jilda Watson's hauntingly beautiful voice. The title track "Do What You Love" and songs such as "I Think of You" and "I Consider You Home" are touching pieces of art that leave a listener not surprised at all that these two have been singing together since high school. Rick and Jilda Watson are a great example of Americana music at its best.”
