So, we had this idea: what if we paid for the hire of the venue, and you got free entry to see acoustic performers? That seems reasonable? What if you wanted to bring some food though and we sent it all to the Alton Foodbank? Would that make it even better? Of course it would. This is our sixth Acoustic Foodbank venture and we're excited, and want to make it a huge success as last time was great and we had more donations than space. Most of us are fortunate to be able to not think twice about what to feed ourselves with daily, or have to choose between feeding ourselves or our children. Not everyone is that fortunate so let's combine some great music with helping some local people out. January is a notoriously difficult month so it's even more important this time. Performers playing this month are also well worth your attention so check them out and come and join us. Singers are: Here Be Dragons https://www.facebook.com/pages/Here-be-Dragons/146711572170981 Joe Booley https://www.facebook.com/joebooleymusic Richard Jacobs https://www.facebook.com/richardjacobsuk Leo Dymond https://www.facebook.com/pages/Leo-Dymond-Acoustic/173435716041478 The venue is: The Lounge Bar, Amery St, Alton, Hants, GU34 1HN Fri 17th Oct, 7.30pm doors. ================================== What to bring?
