The Acre Coalition to Improve Our Neighborhood will hold the fourth annual Acre Festival from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 13, at the North Common Amphitheater, corner of Fletcher Street and Father Sarantos Way. In addition to music, information booths and food vendors, the event will include the presentation of the Community A.C.T.I.O.N. Award to Keith Rudy for his years of dedication to the Acre Youth Organization and to YouthBuild of Greater Lowell for its work on numerous projects throughout the neighborhood. The event will also include the dedication of the amphitheater, where a grant from City of Lowell allowed A.C.T.I.O.N. to build a multi-purpose framework on the stage.
