Remorse Rapper/Songwriter originally from Wanganui, New Zealand now residing in Perth, Australia.
Inspired by Tupac Shakur at the age of 12 which was Tupacs "All Eyes On Me"
The reason Pac influenced him was because of the message he would deliver through his music and the way he would string words together. He considered and still does consider Tupac to be the greatest hip hop/poet to grace the mic.
Remorse found that through his music he could escape the harsh realities of his surroundings.
Focusing on reality he found that his music was easily relatable and inspiring to a lot of people that were in similar circumstances.
Remorse's music is a reflection of his past, present and future and also his friends and surroundings.
At the age of 15 in 2002 while in high school Remorse started his first hip hop crew called "Method Crew" - they went on to win the Over-stayer Hip Hop Award at New Zealand's National Pacifica Beats Competition. They also made it to the finals of the Pacifica Beats the next year in 2003 where they went on to win the Coca-Cola Best Original Song Award. Winning a funded music video clip which they later released on You Tube called "Tomorrow Is A Brighter Day".
Method Crew went on to perform at a few local concerts opening for Scribe, Savage, Deceptikonz, David Dallas, 4 Corners and Aaradhna on the Boost Mobile "Hook Up NZ Tour and also received a write up in the local Wanganui Chronicle News Paper.
His most recent work addresses the state of the World, War, Poverty and the Mistreatment of all people around the world. He likes to address the reality as he feels not many rappers now days do or use their gift/talent to bring these issues we all face to light. Receiving mixed reviews on a lot of his recent work.
He also has a few club bangers and radio commercial tracks, so his music is appreciated from young to old.
He has along side his crew Morse Gang opened for local and international artist such as, Bow Wow (USA) Nesian Mystik (NZ) Sesh (NZ) Scribe (NZ) Kid Ink (USA) and Fortafy (AUS)
He has also performed solo at various fundraisers and charity events.
His crew now Morse Gang consist of Himself and Entyce.
Remorse started Morse Gang in 2011 and since has had a few different members join his crew. But as of recently most of the members have taken different paths leaving Remorse and Entyce to push for Morse Gang.
Remorse and Entyce plan to release Morse Gang's Debut Album in 2017.
