Tickets for the event cost $15 for adults, $12 for students, $10 for faculty, with the option of getting $3 off each ticket (when purchased at the door only) with the donation of 3 dry/canned/pre-pkgd. goods including diapers, pet food, baby formula, and jarred food. Tickets will also be able to be purchased in advance beginning Nov. 1st through the Halton Theater website or at their ticket office.The benefit will feature a slate of popular Charlotte bands and musical artists as well as other performers such as magicians and jugglers all assembled to combat hunger. For this historic event Music 4 Food is proud to announce it has assembled one of the most eclectic lineups of acts to ever play in one venue in the same evening. Each act represents the cream of the crop of Charlotte acts in it's particularf genre and style of music, several of which have achieved considerable fame regionally outside of the Charlotte area. The acts featured include rock and roll fountain of youth of The Funky Geezer Show, instrumental surf-rockers Aqualads, rap collective Whichcraft, singer/songwriter Tim Murray, the young rock guns of Rock U Roadshow, power-poppers Gogopilot, Elvis-stylist Renelvis, alternative country-soul act Gigi Dover-Eric Lovell Trio, Recklus Youth, M4 Messenger, alternative rockers Grown Up Avenger Stuff, dynaqmic rockers Chasing Pedestrians, and the blues rock of Big D and the Diamond Dogs. The exact order of acts is yet to be determined. In between acts will be magicians and other acts and attractions (including a beer tasting event featuring many of Charlotte's local breweries) making this a true musical and event spectacle unlike anything seen in Charlotte, all to benefit the Second Harvest Food Bank, which will receive 100% of the event proceeds.
