Four time Grammy Award and Academy Award-winning New Jersey native Regina Belle achieved worldwide acclaim for her duet with Peabo Bryson on “A Whole New World," for Disney's 1992 animated feature Aladdin. Other hits by Regina Belle include such stellar offerings as “Make It Like It Was,” “If I Could,” and “Dream In Color.” Regina emerged as a prolific, consistently engaging vocalist when New York City disc jockey Vaughn Harper introduced her to R&B vocal group The Manhattans, and she began working as their opening act. Regina Belle recorded a duet with The Manhattans, "Where Did We Go Wrong," that was produced by Bobby Womack in 1986. She earned a solo Columbia contract in 1987, and the single "Please Be Mine" earned both praise and a number two R&B hit.
