“Realation is the Albany-based duo of Vincent Lane (vocals, bass, piano) and David Evans (guitars); they have a lot to say, and most of it is quite serious. And that's a good thing. Formed in 1996, the band has tackled issues most avoid, and seem to write from their conscience. The band's new CD is called "Fraudulence," and the songs are weighty yet still rock and have fun in an enticing retro manner. Self-awareness ode "Apology" finds them capably playing with a cool fuzzy guitar sound and singing "I'm sorry don't you see." The riff-driven "Alright" has a gritty rock vocal, "Conformity" is intricate yet hard-hitting, and "Crucifixion" is almost Alice Cooper-esque. They bravely take on deeper concepts and themes, and their quest for enlightenment, personal peace and truth is quite noble”

“wicked good tuneage here guys..love the blend of styles, punching in elements of ska, rock and funk to make a tasty, tight gumbo of goodness..particularly liked those horn stabs and the funky riff of "suite"...great skills guys!”

Rising to number one on ReverbNation, they are putting all the pieces of their music business in order. Make no mistake however, there is an edge to this band.
