London resident guitarist RaySandoval joined by percussionist Xaver Munoz (with cymbal, hi-hat, snare and cajon) convinced the audience with his own arrangements. John Coltrane’s magical melodies in the melancholic piece “Naima” were transferred to the acoustic guitar. The audience joined in clapping samba rhythms in “Son pa ti” and was touched as well by the arrangement of “Round midnight” by jazz pianist Thelonious Monk.”
