Rain May Fall / Bio

RAIN MAY FALL were formed in 2012 from Zuprowski Connection and Under God Fury, two of Liverpool's former finest hard rock/metal offerings, who supported acts like Hatebreed, Testament, WASP and InMe.

RMF set out to be able to sonically beat you down, call you names, and drag you back up for some more.

The band released their powerful brand of music with their first EP “Where it Began,” with a sellout release party show in Liverpool.

Shortly after this release the band hit the #1 spot on the Reverbnation charts, which they still hold today. This opened the door for RMF, enabling them to support acts like the legendary Uli Jon Roth, metal titans Diamond Head, seasoned rockers Tyketto and sludge lords Crowbar, with Kirk Windstein seen wearing RMF T-shirts in photoshoots and on his UK and European tours.

Over the past few years RAIN MAY FALL has pushed their brand, helping them attain global airplay which has seen them noticed by record labels and promotional companies, enabling them to play a number of festivals across the country.

The new EP, “Silence & Ruin” has emphasised the band's musical roots, offering more heavy riffs, catchy hook lines and an added touch of riff sauce supplied by Tim Cunningham. The powerful vocal lines from Mark Smith fit perfectly with the band's musical concept, with groove juice injected by the monster rhythm section of Luke Mullins on bass and Norman Walker banging the skins.

In 2016 a lineup change has seen Ian Johnson from 12 Gauge and BDV joining Tim, Mark, Luke and Norm. Ian is a southern style riff monster, with years of experience under his belt, supporting acts like Fozzy, Orange Goblin, Ritchie Kotzen, Michael Schenker, Heaven & Earth, Breed 77, Coldspell and Bam Margera from Jackass.

RAIN MAY FALL are now livelier and more diverse than ever before, and remain very determined to set yet another new standard for independent musicianship - a must have for fans of Alter Bridge, Alice in Chains, Faith No More, Black Label Society, Crowbar and Clutch.
