Rachelle Gerine Wunderink was born in Canada but spent her college years in Grand Rapids, Michigan where she earned her Bachelor's in Studio Art at Calvin College. Her focus was on painting but dabbles in other mediums such as printmaking, drawing and installation. She currently resides in Taipei, Taiwan where she co-founded ColorWolfStudios with another fellow artist. ColorWolfStudios has now grown to seven other artists including two writers. Her interests take her through a repetition of motifs to do with growth, deconstruction, and the female experience. Her work is both reflective of Taiwan, where she has resided for the past 4 years. “Retrospective: Taiwan” is her way of saying goodbye to Formosa, as it is her last month on this beautiful island. It is here where she collected the patterns, and objects that were influential for her art process. Music starting at 8: 1. Rachelle Wunderink loves to sing for sheer enjoyment. She picked a ukulele a few years ago, and hasn't let it go since. She mostly sings folk songs both old and new. 2. Rose Goossen is a Canadian who has been occupied as a world traveler since May of 2009. Madame Le Guitare is a Chinese guitar that was rescued from an American closet in October of 2010.
