Project 7 / Press

“It was an overdose of Bon Jovi covers that led this Manchester quartet to focus on creating original rock in the form of Project 7. They got their start in 2007, but in the past year they’ve really built momentum thanks to their album Last Night’s Serenade, available on iTunes. They describe their pop punk as influenced by Blink 182, MEST, Something Corporate, the Beatles, and Van Halen. Want to catch them live? “125 [Riverside Drive]’s been real good to us and it’s always a good time there. Sully’s is also a favorite of ours,” says Chris Faticoni. This award is their high point so far: “To be voted [Best Punk] from the people that come out and see you on a weekly basis is really something that we hold near and dear to our hearts.””

“Last Night's Serenade by Project 7 is an eclectic mix of relevant music, from ballad to edgy, to something that makes you want to get up and dance! The music is tight and the vocals/lyrics are relatable and emotional. These guys put their hearts into their craft and this album is a testament to that. They want you to know how they feel, and they pull you right into each and every song. You can close your eyes and feel the heartbreak, the hot sun at the beach on a summer day, the regret, the emotion. These boys are not your ordinary local band, they deserve to be in the spotlight in front of huge crowds! If you have the opportunity to, go see these guys live! They put on an amazing show, where you find yourself singing, dancing, and wanting more! Don't think you've heard the last of Project 7. These guys have staying power and will be around for a long time. Kick back with Project 7's debut album and you won't have any Midnight Regrets! ”
