PopOut / Press

“PopOut is gearing up for the release of their first single in February 2015, followed by their freshman album debut in the near future. PopOut’s songs traverse a variety of topics, including current social issues with songs like “Fasilitasi” (Facilitation), a track revealing the condition of public facilitation overlooked by the government. “Tanpamu Aku Halu” (Without You, I’m Hallucinating), the band’s first single, “celebrates” the club hopper’s extravagancies. “Jomblo” (Single/Solitary) is steeped in innuendo on a person searching for his mate. PopOut’s debut album, featuring twelve original songs—nine in Indonesian and three in English—will hit the Indonesian market soon. The album features a number of renowned musicians, including Anda Perdana (Matajiwa), IndraQ (BIP), Ezra Simanjuntak and Tyo (ZiFactor), Njet and Boris (The Flowers), Damon Koeswoyo and Koko (Kidnap Katrina) and Sule Wijaya. Produced by French label, Ateliers 79.”
