The DGB has decided to throw a big end of summer bash, located at the R-Farm in Newcastle. The grounds made famous by the Get Bent Summer Solstice. Less then an hour from downtown Toronto, and very close to Peterborough, Oshawa and Lindsay, and right near the Go line. Music all day and overnight camping. Gates at noon, music starts at 2pm sharp, so come early, get set-up and enjoy your day! There will be food available on site, more details of that to come. We are hoping to have a few different options including vegetarian and maybe vegan. We'll announce here ahead of time for sure so you can plan ahead. Suggested donation of $10-$20 per person is being asked to compensate the long list of bands and the land owners. We may close the gate at a certain time in the evening, that will be announced here well before the event. There will be a designated tenting area, so tent there and not elsewhere. Please bring cans as opposed to bottles, broken glass sucks! There is a creek for swimming, please don't go in the ponds!
