Legere personifies the divine feminine; her multi-octave voice has been compared to Edith Piaf, Aretha Franklin and Maria Callas...Legere is a nuclear, spinning, multi-dimensional, creative force NOT TO BE MISSED.” -- Provincetown Magazine August 2014 "Phoebe shines: A soprano with a five octave range, Queen Phoebe, plays both piano and accordion like nothing you have ever witnessed before, she sings as well and is a radiant presence with all her gifts on dazzling display in her outrageous new show, Shakespeare and Elizabeth" - Patrick Christiano, Theaterlife.com 2014 Where Magazine called her a “brilliant composer.” Studs Terkel said, “ She's multi-gifted, an American original!” - National Public Radio Variety said, “Phoebe Legere is superb!"Liz Smith garlanded her with the ultimate singer-pianist accolade, “Phoebe Legere is the new Bobby Short!” 2008 Iman Labedi of RockNYC described Phoebe Legere as “a master writer of startlingly beautiful, heroic songs.”2012 Ron Della Chiesa, host of Music America, told his listeners in 2013: “Phoebe Legere is magnificent…Her beautiful voice will take your breath away Just $15 at the door.
