Peat in the Creel is four multi-instrumentalists who have an extraordinary passion for traditional Irish, Celtic, and World music. This is evident when you see and hear their performances. Performing as a doubleheader along with Peat in the Creel is Embarr. Embarr has been featured at the Fiddler's Hearth, the Union, and New Holland Brewing, and has been showcased in concert at the Riviera Theater and with Early Music Michigan. Embarr is the horse that can transport mortals to and from Tir na n'Og (Teer nah Noe-g), the land of Eternal Youth, a place of permanent feasting, music, and dancing.
The turnips and 5 other bands are finalists to play at this year's Kalamazoo Fretboard Festival, and they will all be playing in front of it's judges in a play-in contest to determine who ultimately gets to play at the festival.
