Gritty New York or hot sunny streets of LA, it doesn't matter where you listen to Laura Toy. She has a way of transporting you to some place sweet and low-down. Sultry, salty, and steamy are just a few words that come to mind when listening to her music. Mister Stitch is as sick-sounding as the relationship it describes. Fresh Out of Tears touches me with a smug kind of charm. Tremblin' Kind is a runaway train of defiance, written by George Usher and perfectly delivered by Ms Toy. I highly recommend you download a few of these numbers--play them on your Ipod, but keep them close to your heart.
