A grimey rock band from the Midlands who are taking the reverbnation charts by storm, each of their songs takes you on a musical journey, their mission to spread StubbleMelt in my opinion they are. Your EP The Search definitely deserves a download by all of your friends. Music that people can identify with no matter what age or genre of music they normally like. A true rock band who have now been had a Live Lounge on BBC Radio Lincoln. It's a definite in my opinion that the UK needs to hear more of StubbleMelt and their hugely well written songs - this will I have no doubt happen very soon. If you want to hear real music made by real musicians this is the place to hear it x
Fantastic band are now really heading where they should always have been and are now No. 9 on the ReverbNation Rock Charts for Official UK take it from someone who has seen them this band is getting bigger and more fantastic every day, new EP out love their whole ethos, the band are a tight knit unit of rock!!!!!!!!
With Evil Insane it's good to see a band that can stay in harmony in such "grimy" surroundings as this song. In Kyle Perry there is a leadman who can actually sing and doesn't feel the need to shout every vocal. Tom Watkins provides the atmosphere alongside Perry whilst David Ashford and Tom Marshall provide the rythmn that makes this song as tight as a gnats ass and takes you into the clouds.
In Blood Money there are shades of Morrissey in Perry's voice, which then allows the rest of the band to explode into "The Who". The harmonies on this track are as good live as they are produced and with Marshall rising becapped, Ashford holding the whole ensemble together, the tempo, harmonies and singing are played properly when you feel the song could be on a knife edge of going wrong if the band don't stay together. However, Stubblemelt keep the song on the right track to send you onwards and upwards.
See Your Lovers - Rising from one voice to a cacophony of singing, melody and harmony, this song should be a hit across the stratosphere.
Lord of The Gods - Bands worldwide will be damning the moment when they didn't record this song. If this is Lord of the Gods, David Ashford is to the OverLord.
Angry Troll - With a small look over to the land mass across the Atlantic Ocean, this is Stubblemelt funk with Tom Marshall being the only rock/grime rapper who can do so in an English accent and yet pull it off. This is a funktional direction for Stubblemelt which then spirals out of control marvelously into your brain.
