I do hope your brother did not forget to say you will be a great musician some day soon. For you are and have been for so many years already, Tom. Enjoying your intelligent music that never fails to surprise me. All the best from rainy Duckledorf. ~ k.
Groovy tunes here indeed
Tom - great music, love my brother said
"Dear Preacher" love the piano. Nice vocal. It moves along nicely. Anything is possible nice! ...=_=...
"My Brother Said"... such a touching song, beautifully poignant & superbly crafted... in my opinion, your song writing skills & observational lyrics are up there with the best - Brian Wilson,Ray Davies,Pete Townsend & the Beatles... T
What a wonderful song "Dear Preacher" - witty, bittersweet and totally engrossing - and full of chords to die for and a terrific, complex melody and instrumentation full of great little musical surprises. Sorry to have been away for so long - am a little offline doing up our boat at the moment.
love your new album - congrats
Holding U, Dear Preacher, Embrace The Suck! Threetimes most excellent story telling and unique in theirown way. Of course Embrace The Suck! is my today's favourite. Don't we all know how this story goes? Thanks god who has saved me from either becoming a musician who would have never made it or a frustrated critic or an unsatisfied music teacher. Thanks, maestro TH, for this great song. Making music is still worth it ~ k.
Enjoyed your top five this morning, Tom! Highly creative and engaging music - awesome lyrics, excellent musicianship!
