Hi John, Great passion in your voice and music along with an excellent story in your lyrics on "Some Hidden Things"!!!
Hi John-Aoede from SF coming by to say hello and listen. Really enjoying Some Hidden Things-soulful vocals and great lyric-thanks!
Shipe, I must be honest, I have lost track of you a bit since your move down south. However, you just crossed my mind and I did a little search. Your new stuff is fantastic. Possibly even a little enviable but I don't care to expand on that as not to give you a big head. I'm on the mailing list now so when you make it up North, I'll know.
There are no "one of a kind" voices. Never have been, never will be.
This might be as close as it gets. John's vocals are clear, hearable, extremely pleasant, and as distinctive as it gets.
John clearly knows his voice intimately, and uses it as well as anyone I've heard.
Did I thank you for this lovely kind thing to say? Thank you indeed.
Hey John!! This is Wendy, Tom Wray (your mother's) youngest daughter!! I am really loving your music and so proud to be part of the Wray genes!!!! Keep on rocking!!!
Thank you, Wendy. Are you part of the band Motherstar? 'Cause that's where it says your comment is coming from.
Hey, I have a new album finished. Official release date is Feb 2, 2011. But it'll be available really soon. Tell everyone about it. It's by far my best, I think.
Say hello and give my love to all the good Wrays and Goodwins.
Oh, and I moved to North Hollywood.... Bright lights big city! Yikes!
Hi John, Good luck with the tour.
I have been listening to your Yellow House CD and intend to play a track on my weekly show next week (Fridays noon-2 PT on Radio23.org).
Perhaps you'll have internet access.
Be hearing you
