Listening to the amazing guitar work and vocals on several of your songs this evening. I just enjoyed 'CROSS THIS OCEAN WITH ME". What a beautifully written and presented song. Thanks for sharing this.
I'm so sorry for your loss, but it sounds like you've got a busy and productive life, which hopefully keeps the pain down some.
Thank you ver much for the sweet words about my tunes once again. I'm glad you liked CTOWM. It's one of my favorites.
Hey Rick! I was just wondering if we might be family. Anyways, great music! Keep it up and see you in the shed!

Thanks so very much for your kind words - it's always good to hear from you.
I hope you're out there playing your great songs as often as you want to, which is, along with some spending cash (!), my idea of a happy life and a successful career.
awesome guitbox Rick, super cool vocal deliverance..essence of a sober Tom Waits!
you are the cats meow kiddo! you got balls!
Enjoying your wonderful guitar skills in HOUSTON TOWN!
Hi Sharon (I hope that's your name)
Please forgive the delay in my response - I've been pulled in 100 directions at the same time and have had little time for RN.
I want to thank you for your very kind words about Houston Town - it seems I heard from you once before, but you were writing as a solo performer, if I have this right.
I have to confess to you that I'm not a religious man, but do consider myself a spiritual man, and always treat people the way I would like to be treated. I have a hard time listening to music that is dedicated to god, because I don't believe in one.
But I do believe that you are 100% sincere in what you believe and think you have a lovely voice. You're a strikingly beautiful woman too - what a wonderful combination! I'm not hitting on you or purposely acting inappropriately.
I wish you nothing but the best of all things in life, including your musical endeavors, and again, thank you for reaching out to me with your appreciation of my song, which was co-written with the late, great Walter Hyatt. We wrote it together in Nashville, where I lived for 18 years as a session guitarist, live guitarist and songwriter. I learned so much about the craft of writing during those years (1994 to 2012). The lyrics are available by clicking on the word, should you ever need them.
Please feel free to stay in touch with me if my lack of faith doesn't put you off too much.
Just love your songs, Rick! Such a tasty way you have with plucking those strings.
Thanks so much for your kind comment, Jean! I'm so glad we like each other's songs - it's a good way to begin a new friendship.
Wonderful tracks. Mint guitar work and vocals.
Houston Town has always been a favorite of mine!!!!
