Butterflies Radio - Updates

TWITTER TUESDAY LIVE’S 1ST BIRTHDAY – 27th September 2011 http://butterfliesradio.com/blog/?p=785

Twitter Tuesday Live 1 year Special

Wow great show! If you didn't get to hear it, you can listen to the podcast http://butterfliesradio.podomatic.com/

Kristen Rau - Guest on Twitter Tuesday Live 20th September 2011

Finally, Mark and I got to meet the beautiful and talented young singer/songwriter from Waco, Texas, KRISTEN RAU. Having had to postpone her appearance a few months back, it was well worth the wait!

It was also great so see that so many people tuned in live to support her. A big thank you to everyone that did. The tweets were coming in fast and furious today. So, as well as keeping Mark and I on our toes, it also made for a great fun show!

Kristen, who only just over a year ago learned how to play the guitar, has come a long way with her music. I foresee an excellent future for this awesome and very talented girl. If she doesn’t make it as a singer, she would probably get into the British Theatre! She has a better British accent than I do! To get what I am talking about you will need to hear the podcast! Kristen has a great sense of humour and entertained the listeners throughout the 2 hour live show. She certainly made a few new fans today - that’s for sure.

You can hear just how awesome Kristen was by going to our web page and downloading the podcast:

As well as talking about her music, she told us about her plans to go to college and what she would like to do in the future when she has finished. During the show we featured 3 of Kristen's songs, all of which are on our rotation: We have had “Frayed” on our rotation for a while now. However, the other two were heard for the first time today and I have to say, I like them very much!

FRAYED (Acoustic Version)

Kristen also has the following web sites where you can follow and support her:

Kenni Denile

Please check out my latest entry on the Butterflies Radio Blog http://butterfliesradio.com/blog/?p=723

Kenni Denile - Guest on Twitter Tuesday Live 6th September 2011

Wow, what a buzz today! What more can I say? Kenni Denile, our guest on Today's Twitter Tuesday Live, turned out to be a no holds barred true rocker! Kenni believes if you want something bad to reach out and get it. Don't be afraid to live your dreams and go after all you believe in. Be open, honest and true to yourself! Kenni is certainly all of that!

During the 2 hour show, Kenni acted like the true rock star he is, in his own right! He is confident, clearly spoken and conveyed a lot of information to his audience! He received a lot of good positive feedback from those that tuned in live! He gave us some insight into his musical influences, where he is at now in his musical career, and his plans for the future.

I will warn you that explicit language was used in one section of today's show. However, I can assure you, in the words of another Kenny, "it's all done in the best possible taste"! (For those of you that don’t know – that was Kenny Everett)

Oh, did I mention how I loved his hair, his eyes and his voice?? Lol

He also shared with us a very special moment in his life! A truly remarkable story!

Please take the time to download the podcast and hear Kenni for yourself!

During the show we featured three of his songs, all of which are in our rotation. Kenni gave us a brief description of each one:

Dreamer is actually the first song I ever wrote, with a band. It is a song that speaks to anyone who is feeling defeated, lonely, lost or otherwise broken and they can turn to music to help them see themselves though hard times. Most of my songs speak to the idea that above all else, you must always believe in yourself and follow your heart. But you don’t always have to do it on your own ~ “Let me be your Dreamer, lean on me and we’ll see it thru.”

This song is a new song and it has a meaning that is very near to me. There are people, in our time, they call Indigos. Indigo children are very tuned in to what is happening in the Universe and are quite often mis-understood by the “old guard”. This song is a tribute to ANYONE who has their own unique sense of being and is not afraid to follow their heart and own their beautifulness. To speak up and make their voice heard and possibly effect a change in the world around them.

I loved recording this song. It’s very straight to the point, in that it’s not the feeble minded shit that someone may say about you that hurts, as much as it is - what do you do with those words? Do you believe them and stop being yourself, or do you say Fuck You! I don’t accept that and keep on keepin’ on? This song also has my favorite guitar lead as well. Can I get a big Hell Yeah for Mike P?!!!

His music can be heard and purchased from:

Kenni is also a graphics designer and he has done an amazing job on his web page! Please check it out:

Kenni is also on the following social sites:

Kenni I hope you had a much fun as Mark and I did today! It was a pleasure meeting you, and we wish you all the best for whatever the future holds for you. Mark and I will give you continued support as much as we can! Thank you Kenni!
